As promised, here are pictures from James’ 13th birthday party. It’s been a couple of years since we’ve had an actual party because of Covid. In 2020, we arranged a birthday parade where people drove by our house to wish James a happy birthday and drop off gifts. Last year it was just the four of us on a “deserted island”. This year we decided to have a small party with just close family. Covid is still a thing, and since James was in the hospital earlier this month with pneumonia, we thought it was better to have just a small gathering to celebrate him becoming a teenager. And what better way to celebrate becoming a teenager than with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme.
