It was a bit of a slow week, so I really wasn’t planning on writing a post this weekend, but with the way I left off in last Sunday’s post—James having a reaction to the vaccine—I thought I shouldn’t wait another week to put your mind at ease. He did have a rough couple of days, but he bounced back like a champ. Of course, if you are following him on Facebook, you already knew this. Hint. Hint.

Feeling better

Yesterday was a bit rough on him, though. It was a long day for all of us. We had a meeting with a lawyer to discuss special needs trusts and wills in the event that something happens to Stacy and me. From there we went on a little bit of a hunt for Stacy’s engagement ring. With the cooler weather, and a little bit of weight loss, her fingers shrunk, and the ring fell off somewhere on Friday. She didn’t realize it was gone until after she got home so we drove to every place she went on Friday. Unfortunately, no luck. We couldn’t find it. We dropped off pictures at a couple of local police departments just in case a good person finds it and turns it in. After that we had a meeting for the fundraiser that we are planning for April. More on this later. James was having a bit of a rough time on the way home from the meeting.

This morning, he woke up a bit warm, but didn’t have a fever. He’s been doing his double breathing thing and his sats have been hovering in the high 80s and low 90s. I feel like I am going to end this post in the same way that I ended last weekend’s post. Hopefully he bounces back from whatever this is, and we don’t wind up in the emergency room.

Feeling crappy again

Before I sign off, I mentioned earlier about a fundraiser. If you are following James on Facebook, you are already probably aware about the fundraiser we’re planning for April. We hope to raise enough to buy a wheelchair accessible van, which will be greatly needed as James gets older and bigger. If you want more information about the event, check out RollingForJames.com.
