This is part 2 of the Cerebral Palsy Awareness daily posts that Stacy has been putting on James’ Facebook page and will include days 16 through 31 of those posts. If you missed part 1 with days 1 through 15, it can be found here.
Thanks again to the Firefly company for putting these facts together to help raise awareness about cerebral palsy.
Day 16:
This is pretty awesome!!
Day 17:
James is spastic.
Day 18:
Nothing about James is common. He is an original.
Day 19:
That is a lot of people. We had to show James where the Netherlands was.
Day 20:
It’s pretty surprising that so many people know at least one person living with CP.
Day 21:
James is very unique. He marches to a beat of his own drum.
Day 22:
James is 1 in 500.
Day 23:
We don’t know if James will ever be able to walk.
Day 24:
He usually gets what he wants.
Day 25:
James used to wear thick glasses but when he was 4, his eyes got better and no longer needed them.
Day 26:
James has quad CP…all of his limbs are affected.
Day 27:
Very true for our family. James’ other medical “quirks” don’t help either.
Day 28:
That is a lot of kids!
Day 29:
James feels discomfort often and he makes sure mommy and daddy know.
Day 30:
Don’t feel bad for James or for us. He is typical in his own mind.
Day 31:
This was our chosen journey, and we are loving it because we are in it together.
