This is going to be a relatively short post. Things have been pretty calm around here, which is good, but it also makes us a bit nervous. Just when we think things are back to normal—normal for us anyway—James seems to throw us a curveball. So, for now, we are being cautiously optimistic.
Digestion Issue Update
Nothing to report on here. He still has his digestion issues here and there, but they seem to be getting better every week. We’re still not sure exactly what happened or what caused him to stop digesting his food properly. I wish we did. Hopefully it was a one-time deal, and it won’t happen again.
We did have an incident this morning, although I’m not sure if this was really a health-related issue. Stacy was trimming James’ fingernails and accidentally cut a little bit of skin around one of his nails. He was not happy, and he let us know it.
School
I haven’t posted much about school lately, but he’s still doing good. It’s really kind of hard to post about school stuff now that his one-on-one nurse isn’t allowed to take pictures and video anymore. She did sneak in a few pics, though. Hopefully she won’t get in trouble if I post them here.
A couple of weeks ago they went bowling for a field trip:
And there is this one from earlier this week. “Call me Mr. Rectangle”.
Am I Slow?
So, I totally just realized something. St. Patrick’s Day is in March, and everyone wears green for St. Patrick’s Day, right? March is Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month and green is the color to represent CP. Is that just a coincidence, or did they consciously choose March as Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month because everyone is already wearing green because of St. Patrick’s Day?
