We took James to see the pediatrician this morning because Stacy suspected that he had and ear infection. She was right. Mommy is always right. James had ear tubes put in back in April which we thought would stop him from getting ear infections, but I guess they will just lessen the chance of getting an ear infection and not completely stop them.

The pediatrician prescribed Ciprodex ear drops for both ears and also Amoxiclav, which is an antibiotic. The Ciprodex is designed to treat bacterial infections in the middle ear in children with ear tubes. It can also be used to treat outer ear infections like swimmer’s ear in children and adults.
