Today is Easter Sunday, and as we usually do, we spent the weekend with family on my mom’s side. It was a beautiful weekend with temps in the 50s and 60s. And it’s always good to see my aunt, uncle, and cousins.

Here are a few pics from the weekend.

I love these two:

Stacy and James sitting close together, Stacy smiling in a pink shirt and the James wearing glasses, an orange “MONKEY SEE” shirt, and a beaded necklace, leaning back slightly against a softly patterned background in a warm, affectionate moment.

Our customary fireplace photo before Easter dinner:

Jeff, James and Stacy sitting together in front of a large stone fireplace, with Jeff in a blue plaid shirt on the left, James in glasses and a gray checkered shirt in the middle, and Stacy in a black dress with a red flower in her hair on the right, all framed by a rustic wooden floor and mantel in a cozy indoor setting.

It’s kind of amazing what a little bit of hard work can do. Stacy and I have been exercising and have been a little more conscious of what we eat. Here is a side-by-side picture of us from Easter 2010 and this Easter:

Side‑by‑side family photos in front of the same stone fireplace, with the left image labeled 2010 showing Jeff and Stacy holding James, and the right image labeled 2012 showing Jeff and Stacy with the now‑older James sitting between them, highlighting growth and continuity over time.
