I think all parents can related to this. Shortly after James was born Stacy and I did a little inspection. We looked him over to see which of his parts he got from each of us. As you can see from the pics below, James definitely got his ears from mommy. Apparently we don’t take many pictures of the sides of our heads, so I had to go all the way back to when James was in the NICU to find decent pics of James’ and Stacy’s ears.

It turns out that their ears are not just the same on the outside. They are similar internally as well. James had an appointment at the ENT today and he said that the tube in James’ right ear is coming out and that he has a little bit of fluid behind the ear drum. Fortunately, it is not infected so nothing to be concerned about right now. Stacy also went to the doctor today…and guess what? She has a middle ear infection in both ears. I’m not sure what to do about these two.
