We took James to the pediatrician this morning for his 7-month checkup. He weighed in at 14 pounds and 15 ounces. Almost 15 pounds! The pediatrician thinks James has an infection in his left ear so he prescribed Cefdinir for 10 days. In a post a couple of weeks ago I mentioned that James was supposed to get ear tubes, but they cancelled the surgery the day before because they didn’t get all of the needed paperwork in time. Well, maybe if they would have been a little bit better about getting the paperwork, then James would have gotten the ear tubes two weeks ago and he wouldn’t have this ear infection!
Rant over.
James is scheduled to get have his ear tube surgery on Monday, April 5th. Fingers crossed he gets them this time. We are having them put in at a different hospital than the one that cancelled the appointment so hopefully we’ll have better luck.
