Yesterday was a rather uneventful day which is why I didn’t post any updates. The only thing that happened yesterday was that he is up to his maintenance dose of Phenobarbital and will be taking it at 9 am and 9 pm via G-tube.

Today he started a smaller dose of Robinul to try to dry up his secretions a little bit. He is getting 1.5 ml every 8 hours.

His feeds are still at 90 ml over 2 hours.

It was a pretty low-key weekend.

Stacy leans over James’ hospital crib, smiling as she holds up a colorful book for him to see. James is wrapped in a green blanket and a yellow Z‑FLO cushion that supports him. A patterned curtain hangs behind the crib, and a small note nearby reads “PLEASE suction my nose frequently.” The moment feels gentle and attentive, centered on shared interaction and care during James’ early hospital stay.
Mommy reading James a story. Can you spot James?
