James had a pretty busy day yesterday. Mommy had him working on pushing up and lifting his head. She had to hold his head, but he is definitely trying to push himself up.

Back in October James got a Wombat chair from our local durable medical equipment company (DME). Since he’s grown a bit since then, the tech came out to make some adjustments to the chair.

The DME tech also brought a stander for James. Although James will probably never walk, the occupational therapist and physical therapist thought it would be beneficial for James to periodically use a stander to allow for weight bearing on his legs.

James was a bit wiped from being in the stander for so long while the tech was making all the adjustments that needed to be made so Stacy didn’t get a good pic of him actually standing in it. Next time he uses it, we’ll be sure to get some better pics.
