School Spirit Month

Stacy loves it when James’ school does a spirit week where each day of the week has a different theme. This year they’ve had several spirit weeks…in December right before Holiday Break, the last week of January, and the last week of February. Instead of doing another spirit week at the end of the school year, they decided to make the entire month of May a spirit month. Because the kids transitioned to virtual learning because of coronavirus, it was a virtual spirit month and pictures had to be submitted to the teacher. This is a collection of those pictures.

 

A themed school calendar titled “Spirit Month – May 2020” lists daily dress‑up and activity prompts across the month. Each day includes a short theme such as Athletic Day, Cartoon Character Day, Pirate Day, Superhero Day, Disney Day, Tie‑Dye Day, Career Day, Hat Day, Chicago Sports Team Day, and Summer Outfit Day. Several Mondays are marked “No school,” and the month ends with the message “Have a great Summer!” The calendar is decorated with colorful “Spirit Wear” text in the corners and arranged in a simple grid layout.

Friday, May 1st: Athletic Day

Wear your best athletic wear.

Wednesday, May 6th: Pirate Day
