One of Stacy’s friends lives about 30 – 45 minutes away and her town has a big community lake that people can go swimming in. Stacy thought it would be fun to take James swimming in the lake. I had to work so I was unable to go with them. I wish I could have been there to see him “swimming” for the first time. Judging by the pictures, though, I am not sure he enjoyed it that much.

James lying on a dark carpet wearing a blue‑and‑red striped shirt and blue swim trunks with red crab patterns, with a pulse oximeter sensor attached to his left foot for monitoring.
