Don’t Piss Off This Special Needs Parent

Please excuse me while I vent. Stacy and I are part of a local Facebook group where people can share things that are going on in our community, ask for recommendations, ask for advice, etc. One of the members in the group posted a simple reminder:

Then there was a comment that really pushed my buttons.

The first comment asks if a stop sign means to speed up. Another user replies that it isn’t funny. A third commenter makes a cruel remark about “points” for hitting a child in a wheelchair. The final comment from Jeff responds angrily, defending his child and calling out the offensive remark.

 

I realize he’s just a troll with a fake account and probably gets off by getting people like me upset with his comments. Most people would say to just ignore him, and that he’s not worth your time or energy. Sorry, but that is not the way that I’m wired.

“Oh you fucking with the wrong troll today.” Guess what Andrew? You fucked with the wrong parent today. If you think you can hide behind your fake Facebook account ‘Andrew James’, you’d be wrong. Oh wait, it’s Andrew Hock, isn’t it? You may want to hide your tracks a little bit better. You see, there’s something you should know about my “wheel chair kid”. He has an army of supportive fans behind him. All we had to do was share your fake Facebook account with them and let them go to work. It didn’t take them long, either.

I was nice and filtered out your girl’s face but let this be a little warning for you. If I ever catch you making another comment about running over a kid in a wheelchair, or making fun of someone with a disability, I will knock your ass out. And I don’t care if I go to jail for it either. Maybe I’ll just plead temporary insanity. You see, special needs parents are stressed, and sleep deprived. So, you better believe that if you say anything about our kids, especially harming them, even though you may think you’re just having fun, we will fuck you up. Is that a threat? I guess that is for you to decide. Maybe it is, or maybe I’m just joking around in the same way that you think you were joking around by asking “how many points if you hit the wheel chair kid?” It would be a shame for you to wind up in a wheelchair. Hmm. Wouldn’t that be ironic?

Now, I am a reasonable guy, so I’ll make a deal with you. If you would like me to take this post off the internet, all you need to do is publicly apologize to everyone in the Facebook group where you left that comment. Since you seem to have multiple “Andrew James” fake profiles that you troll with, I’m guessing it will take you a while to figure out where you left that comment. Perhaps you should publicly apologize to every FB group where you left stupid, derogatory, and insulting comments. Once I see your apology, I will delete this post. Deal?
