James had an appointment with neurology today for an EEG to see if the ACTH is working. Unfortunately, the EEG showed no progress. James is still having infantile spasms, and today’s EEG looks similar to the EEG that he had prior to starting ACTH almost three weeks ago. When we first started the ACTH shots, we were giving James 0.38 mg per day. We’re going to increase it to 0.50 mg per day and see if that makes a difference. We have a follow up appointment in two weeks with another EEG. Fingers crossed we see a change with the higher dose!
