James got his first pair of glasses in August, but we thought we would try a different style. Here’s a pic of his first pair of glasses:

James, wearing glasses and a yellow bib, lies on a white cloth with an orange patterned edge. His face is slightly flushed, and his head is positioned against a red surface with light-colored fabric visible around the sides.

The problem we have with those glasses are that if he has a spasm or seizure, he turns his head which knocks the glasses off of his nose and it looks like the nose pads are going to go into his eye.

Below is a pic of his new glasses. They wrap around the sides of his head better and have a band around the back of his head so hopefully they will stay in place better when he has spasms or seizures.

James lying on a light green covered Nap Nanny, wearing blue‑framed glasses and a green dinosaur‑themed shirt with striped sleeves, resting with a folded white cloth and blue item nearby in a dim indoor setting.

I think the original glasses are a lot cuter, but we’ll try out the new ones to see how he does with them. We might end up using both pairs depending on the situation.
