The GI doctor stopped by to talk with Stacy about the pH probe (esophageal pH test). James has to be off the Reglan and Pepcid in order to do the test, which makes sense. James can’t have any medications in his system that will adversely affect the test. Since both of these meds are used to treat possible heartburn and acid reflux, having them in his system during the test won’t show us how much acid reflux James actually has. They will hopefully do the test on Wednesday.

In a black‑and‑white close‑up, Stacy holds James against her chest. Stacy is wearing a patterned floral shirt, while James rests peacefully in clothing decorated with small rockets and stars. His face is relaxed, eyes closed, capturing a quiet moment of comfort and closeness. Soft indoor details in the background hint at a medical setting without drawing focus away from James’ calm rest.
