James had vision therapy for the first time since being on Sabril. Stacy said he seemed so much more alert and responsive. I wish I could have been there to witness it in person, but thankfully Stacy took some videos to show me. I will post the videos below. It almost seems like he is turning his head to follow the light. This is huge!
In the videos above, the vision therapist was having James use both eyes. She also spent some time working with just his right eye, which is his good eye. They optic nerve didn’t fully develop in his left eye so we’re not sure how much he can see with that one.
