Stacy used to be an early childhood special ed teacher so she is aware of many of the devices and adaptive things that are available to those with special needs. This is a whole new world to me. Stacy was talking with a woman from early intervention about James’ therapies and the subject of seating came up.

James has been using an infant bouncy chair to sit in for therapies, which works, but it isn’t optimal. The woman from early intervention recommended getting James something called a Wombat chair. It would give him much more support for his head and trunk, will allow him to sit upright or recline, and has a few other adjustments.
