For our Halloween costumes this year, Stacy decided to do characters from the Disney movie Monsters, Inc. James was Mike Wazowski, I was Sulley, and Stacy was the little girl, Boo.

We got all dressed up for a Halloween party for special needs families at Gigi’s Playhouse on October 27th. It was a very nice party that included food, games, and pumpkin decorating for the kids.

For those of you who may not know what Gigi’s Playhouse is, they are a non-profit organization whose niche is to “change lives through the consistent delivery of free educational, therapeutic-based, and career development programs for individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and the community, through a replicable playhouse model.”

Because their programs are free to those with Down syndrome, they rely on donations to keep their business running. If you are interested in donating to this awesome organization, click on the Donation link on their website.

Stacy has been working out at a local fitness center that is for women only. She had a class scheduled on Halloween and decided not to dress up in her Boo Halloween costume for the workout. Instead, she went in her normal clothes.

She did get back into her Boo costume for a Halloween party at James’ school, though. I was unable to make it, but James’ one-on-one nurse took my place as Sulley. I think she did it better. What do you think?
